Nearly 25,000 homes in southeastern Queensland were left without power on Monday morning after powerful weather events swept through the region, bringing wind gusts hitting 109 kilometers per hour.
Large Hailstones and Widespread Damage
Locals observed large ice chunks as large as 7 centimeters in particular locations. Meteorological experts announced that various areas across the state had been hit with large hailstones.

Tuesday was forecast to be the most rainy day, with ongoing storm activity predicted across different parts of both states.
